Brief
Going to hospital for an operation is a supreme act of trust.
We have to trust not only the skills of hospital staff who
take care of us and make decisions about our health but
increasingly, the sophisticated technology they employ.
Being a system that was introduced on the basis of efficiency,
it lacked many of the fundamentals, which the method before it
had used. I therefore came up with the idea of using technology
as a means of allowing the Anaesthetist to have visual contact
with his/her patient from the comfort of their home or office.
